Job Summary
General Labourer/Installer role at Great Northern Insulation with duties including helping insulate attics, walls, and other areas using fiberglass batts; perform loading/unloading, site cleanup, and paperwork; work in pairs on various job sites, indoors and outdoors, with risks like heights and confined spaces; start as early as 6am, Mon-Fri with occasional weekends; require ability to work in different environmental conditions, hold a valid G license with a clear abstract, and wear PPE; benefits include training, health/dental, RRSP, and advancement opportunities; strong team collaboration and time-management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- G Driver's license with a clear driver's abstract
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions (indoors/outdoors)
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team
- Proven time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work OT and weekends when needed
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
- Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, masks/respirators, and overalls
- Use of common handheld power tools
