Job Summary
Restock product into designated low bay bins using voice or radio frequency unit instructions, inspect and audit outbound orders for accuracy, and pick items from designated locations to place them into cartons on pre-built pick carts. Seal completed orders, direct them to invoicing and shipping, and drop discrepancies at designated areas. Construct cartons and build carts as needed while maintaining safe, neat, and clean work areas per SanMar safety regulations. Meet minimum production and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
- Basic math skills in counting and quantity
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require
- Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate Radio Frequency (RF) Unit
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Comprehend verbal and written instructions
- Essential days or overtime
- Ability to stand, walk, talk and hear
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds
- Full range of motion of the neck, head and back
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, grasp and perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions
- Ability to climb stairs, kneel/squat, bend and carry
- Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Basic literacy
- Ability to wear a headset covering one or both ears
- Ability to work near conveyor systems
- Ability to work under typical warehouse conditions
- Ability to handle exposure to dust and changes in weather conditions
- Ability to handle extreme heat and extreme cold
- Ability to handle ambient lighting
