Job Summary
Join Pilgrim’s production team operating on the processing line to cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry products while meeting USDA and company safety/quality standards. You’ll operate equipment, maintain a clean work area, follow safety and biosecurity guidelines, collaborate with teammates, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to multitask, teamwork, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Poultry or food industry experience is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work quickly
- Good communication skills
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense
- Must be a team player and be willing to work close to other employees at some stations
- Physical ability to stand and lift 50 lbs or more
- Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees) and 8-11 hours per day
- Prior experience in a production or processing environment is beneficial
- Ability to follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines
