Job Summary
Production labor role in a food-processing environment. Responsibilities include preparing work areas, loading/unloading and transferring product to equipment/conveyors, monitoring production lines, supplying and replenishing packaging materials, inspecting and removing defective product, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Must follow safety, GMP, and quality standards; be able to stand 8-12 hours, perform heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs), and operate knives and various machinery. Wage scaleis $18.50-$20.50 per hour with benefits (medical, dental, vision) after 60 days, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and career development opportunities. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 1+ years’ production industry experience preferred
- Proficient in General Production 1 duties
- Must be able to understand and comply with company, plant, and safety rules/policies
- Ability to use knives and a variety of machinery
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand 8-12 hours per day
- Ability to work at a production conveyor line
- Able to work in a wet, damp, cold environment with temperatures around 34 degrees
