Job Summary
Conduct entry-level baking tasks including muffins and breads, assist with order packing and staging verification, and operate bakery equipment and ovens. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times while supporting the production floor. This role requires flexibility for any shift or day, the ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds, and standing for the entire shift. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and TB test. A high school diploma is preferred, along with any prior bakery experience.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible, available any shift, any day
- Able to lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for the entire shift
- Able to do simple math (add, subtract, multiply and do simple fractions)
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug-screening
- Must also have passed a TB test Dated/Issued within 12 months of date of hire OR Dated/Issued at the age of 16 or older
- Able to work in a hot/cold environment
- Able to work in ambient temperatures that can reach 100's
- Able to work in A/C rooms as low as 50 degrees
- Able to work in walk-in chills and freezers where temperatures go as low as minus 10 degrees
