Job Summary
Create, prepare, and review complex graphic designs for large format printing, ensuring accurate color calibration, resolution, and layout adjustments. Perform pre-press tasks including file conversion, color separation, and written content while maintaining version control and proper archiving of digital assets. Collaborate with project stakeholders to interpret creative concepts and deliver high-quality files that meet technical specifications and tight deadlines. Adhere to all company policies, OSHA safety protocols, and appearance guidelines while working in an office environment with potential irregular hours, on-call status, and weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
- 1+ years working experience in graphic prepress, and/or related fields for print production.
- Strong understanding of printing process and file preparation techniques.
- Experience in Color management and typography.
- Multi-Tasking Ability: Competent in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with various print materials and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Organization skills and problem-solving skills.
- Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Hargrove based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or higher degree and/or certificate in Adobe Creative Suite software is a plus.
- Color management skills are a plus.
