Job Summary
Experienced Production Geologist to support and advance geological evaluation, grade control, and resource development at the Jerritt Canyon operation. Collaborate with Geology, Technical Services, and Operations to deliver accurate geological data for safe, efficient mining decisions. May lead grade control programs, coordinate drilling and data collection, update geological/resource models, support mine planning and reconciliation, identify geological risks/opportunities, and mentor junior team members as responsibilities grow.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- 5–8+ years of experience in mining geology, exploration, or related mining environments
- Underground mining experience preferred, particularly in narrow vein or similar deposit types
- Strong understanding of grade control practices, geological modeling, and reconciliation processes
- Experience supporting or leading drilling programs and geological data collection
- Proficiency with geological modeling and mining software; Deswik experience preferred
- Professional Geologist (PG) registration or eligibility is considered an asset
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
