Job Summary
Position Overview: Support efficient palletizing and material flow by maintaining equipment, ensuring quality standards, and assisting with warehouse operations to keep production running smoothly. Responsibilities include operating a forklift to maintain a steady supply of materials, ensuring pallets are properly aligned, inspecting and transporting finished pallets, documenting pallet tickets and banding, reporting discrepancies, maintaining cleanliness in the lower conveying area, and assisting in other areas to support smooth can flow through the plant. Emphasis on safety, accuracy of P.O. numbers, and daily tasks such as cleaning and data entry.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months forklift operation experience
- Able to read and understand date codes and pallet tickets; create and apply pallet tickets
- Ability to learn overall can making process and quality requirements for finished goods and raw materials
- Basic data entry skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with all team members
- Strong understanding of applicable safety regulations
