Job Summary
Supervise production crews in a unionized, incentive rate environment by scheduling staff, coaching employees, and managing performance. Monitor forging operations and equipment performance to ensure production targets and product quality are met while enforcing strict safety policies. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality Control, and Engineering to resolve operational issues and support production flow. Provide training and guidance to enhance crew skills, conduct root cause analysis for production problems, and recommend process improvements. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports using Microsoft Office and plant systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a supervision role within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Working knowledge of heavy industrial steel-based production processes
- Proficiency within Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel
- Ability to work effectively in a unionized, industrial environment
- Ability to work any shift as assigned for operations support
- Written and spoken fluency in Latin American Spanish and English
Desired Qualifications
- hands-on experience in stamping, press operations, forging hammers, and/or casting
- Strong commitment to safety leadership in industrial settings
- Working knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
