Production Foreman

Job Summary
Plan, organize, and manage a department or shift to maximize machinery uptime, production throughput, and product quality. Supervise staff by designating work assignments, providing instruction, reviewing completed work, and contributing to performance appraisals. Monitor equipment performance, check finished product quality, and take corrective action on identified issues. Ensure strict adherence to safety rules, guidelines, and procedures. Track inventory levels, order supplies, and make procurement recommendations for tools, parts, and materials. Provide ongoing training to increase staff knowledge, skills, and abilities. Enforce corporate and plant quality standards. Complete other duties as assigned by managers.
Required Qualifications
- Must have high-speed manufacturing experience
- Be mechanically inclined with experience using common hand tools and power tools
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Three years or more of supervisory experience preferred
- Five years or more of high-speed manufacturing experience preferred but not required
