Job Summary
Read and interpret full-scale drawings to select templates and prepare foam for building seat models or reworking components. Use handheld grinders and power hand tools to shape and modify foam while ensuring work meets quality and production requirements. Support compliance with company quality policies and procedures while working independently in a manufacturing environment. Perform other duties as assigned. This hands-on, detail-oriented role is ideal for candidates comfortable with repetitive tasks and specific measurements.
Required Qualifications
- Blueprint reading experience
- Ability to safely and effectively use power hand tools
- Ability to accurately operate handheld grinders
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with periods of sitting and standing
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to ask questions and seek direction when needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific measurements and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience as a Foam Skiver
- Comfortable using handheld grinders, Dremel-style tools, and other power hand tools
