Job Summary
Oversee daily operations in protective packaging plants by assigning workloads, ensuring quality, and advocating for employee safety and health. Develop and prioritize manufacturing plans to achieve service, quality, and productivity goals while implementing continuous improvement and waste reduction projects. Manage labor and capital resources to optimize systems, balance budgets, and schedule resources for efficient operation and planned equipment maintenance. Support the Operations Manager in moving plant activities toward certification goals and executing annual performance plans to meet business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a maintenance supervisor or manager role
- Demonstrated manufacturing based project management and continuous improvement skills
- fundamental understanding of lean six sigma
- IPS
Desired Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or other (applicable) technical discipline
