Job Summary
Production Expeditor comprised of monitoring production schedules, identifying bottlenecks, expediting materials, and coordinating cross-functional communication to ensure timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities include tracking daily schedules, updating status with supervisors and planners, locating and expediting materials, coordinating with purchasing and warehousing, acting as a liaison across production, planning, quality, and logistics, maintaining records in the ERP system (IQMS), generating reports on schedule adherence and bottlenecks, supporting continuous improvement (5S, lean) and inventory reconciliation, and ensuring safety and policy compliance. Required skills emphasize manufacturing experience, ERP proficiency, strong communication, and ability to interpret production documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, production control, or expediting
- Familiarity with IQMS ERP software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and material lists
- Solid problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflow
