Job Summary
The Production Engineering Graduate role is an advanced apprenticeship in production engineering at Worcester Bosch. It provides hands-on experience shadowing engineers within a dynamic production environment and focuses on specification, procurement and implementation of test equipment (leak test machines, electrical safety test machines, transducer torque equipment and vision systems) and host production assembly station control software (PCs, PLCs, HMIs) as part of the manufacturing execution system. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining station control software and server-based software/databases, creating technical documentation, providing rapid problem solving on assembly lines, collaborating with local and international manufacturing teams, supporting on-time new product delivery, establishing robust processes, setting up and maintaining production processes, supporting process implementation/industrialisation, ensuring safe working methods, project planning, cross-functional team participation for capital equipment purchases, designing and commissioning assembly equipment, maintaining control plans and TPMs, performing capability studies, driving continuous improvement, supporting design with tooling/process capabilities, and participating in quality audits under Health & Safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in mechanical, production, electrical engineering or closely related discipline.
