Job Summary
Production Engineer contributes technical expertise to ensure the operation produces product meeting quality, cost, and efficiency goals. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing continuous process improvements; providing technical guidance to plant operations for process troubleshooting and corrective action plans; coordinating with maintenance, accounting, purchasing, and professional organizations; preparing engineering proposals, reports, and findings; and supporting safety, compliance, quality, production, cost, and capital projects. Requires a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field, strong communication skills, and working knowledge of packaging equipment. Preferred: 1-4+ years in a manufacturing environment and experience with capital projects and reliability programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related engineering field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
