Job Summary
Senior Production Engineer leading an SRE-focused team to build, maintain, and optimize complex, scalable production systems at scale. Responsibilities include infrastructure management across public clouds (GCP and AWS), automation to reduce toil, incident and problem management, safe deployment/change execution, and close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering Management. Mentorship and a culture of shipping with high standards for stability, performance, security, and scalability are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience
- Strong history of system architecture, distributed microservices, and self-healing systems
- Advanced expertise with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with cloud providers (GCP and AWS)
- Proficiency in Python and Go
- Experience with Linux, Nginx/Apache, MySQL, PHP, Ansible, Terraform
- Hands-on observability with Prometheus and EFK stacks
- Mentorship and leadership capabilities
- Ability to design, build, and maintain production-ready configurations at internet scale
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
