Production Engineer

Analyze and optimize existing and new equipment/processes; investigate process issues and propose productivity improvements; create documentation for existing process equipment; design and implement processes, equipment, and documentation systems for new projects; collaborate with the tooling team to design fixtures and tooling; resolve manufacturing issues related to equipment, processes, or design; review production processes to improve safety, product quality, delivery speed, and reduce production costs; assist maintenance with troubleshooting; provide technical guidance in process engineering; develop/revise SOPs and BOMs; train employees to follow work instructions; use problem-solving tools to analyze customer complaints and production issues and implement corrective actions; collaborate with production managers to optimize plant layout and maximize space and resources.
