Job Summary
Lead and support engineering activities across prototype builds, mass production, and customer projects while managing investment and machine introduction initiatives. Drive Smart Factory improvements through automation, IIoT, and real-time data systems, and apply AI camera or machine vision systems to enhance product quality. Implement Poka-Yoke and quick change-over solutions, utilizing basic troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to ensure smooth execution with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Suppliers. Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3–5 years in automotive manufacturing, and proficiency in CAD and MS Office, with on-site availability at MAHLE Engine Components (Thailand) Ltd. in Bangkok.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related fields)
- 3–5 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry (preferred)
- Experience in production engineering, automation, or machine integration
- Strong analytical, problem‐solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficient in 2D/3D CAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good command of English and Thai (reading, writing, speaking)
- Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Engine Components (Thailand) Ltd. – Bangchan industrial estate, Bangkok
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with production automation or machine integration is a plus
- Experience or exposure to AI camera systems or machine vision applications is an advantage
- Knowledge of data analytics or industrial databases (e.g., SQL) is a plus
- Basic coding knowledge (e.g., Python, C#, or PLC languages) is an advantage
- Familiarity with IIoT or SCADA systems is a plus
