Job Summary
Maintain overall process capability and capacity while reporting production metrics, downtime root causes, and forecasts in meetings and dashboards. Identify requirements for process improvement projects and ensure adherence to critical quality plans and best practices. Develop process control support to minimize variations and provide statistical data analysis for process control and root cause investigations. Conduct management of changes, participate in process hazard analyses, and prepare technical daily operating instructions for operations. Lead field activities by walking outdoors in units daily, troubleshooting production upsets, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols in a hazardous manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering
- Previous experience as a Production or Process Engineer
- 3+ years engineering experience with a chemical manufacturing plant
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or visa transfer
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a PSM facility
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Any Basic Process Control System Training (Delta V)
