Production Engineer - Assembly

Job Summary
Provide engineering services to assigned manufacturing areas; assist maintenance with machine troubleshooting; support manufacturing with quality/productivity & cost improvements; assist with new capital project purchases; develops engineering reports; and other duties as assigned. Daily Manufacturing Support aimed at reducing downtime, reducing costs, quality improvements and productivity gains. Assist in new project startup and new equipment procurement, installation and grooming. Create technical instructions for equipment/processes; perform process capability studies; ensure compliance with TS16949 and ISO14001 for process sheets, control plans and PFMEA; work with hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication systems; experience with fixture, tooling, and gage design; proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks; strong data analysis and presentation skills; ability to work in a team-oriented environment; willingness to overtime as an essential function; travel approximately 10-20%.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or B.A./Associate Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
