Production Engineer Analyst

Job Summary
Acquire, validate, organize, and maintain technical and operational data from internal and external sources to support engineering studies and business decisions. Monitor activity across company operations, track data in reporting systems, and create dashboards and models that provide actionable insights for operational and strategic decision-making. Assist engineering professionals with research projects, including benchmarking and presentation preparation, while helping to streamline processes and automate workflows to improve data quality and operational efficiencies. This role reports to an Engineering Manager and works closely with Production, Facilities, Midstream, and Construction teams.
Required Qualifications
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of oil and gas software (Aries, SQL, Oracle, P2, SCADA, Spotfire, PowerBI, SEEQ, GIS, etc.)
- Strong background in data visualization with the ability to interpret engineering, operational, and economic data
- Experience in working with large data sets and database QA/QC and maintenance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various levels of company personnel
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task with attention to accuracy
- Must be a team player and possess the ability to adapt to changing and fast paced working environment
- Minimum: 2 Year/Associate's degree; Combination of Industry experience and education may substitute as equivalent for degree
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting, and standing
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be willing to work extended hours on short notice
- Must be able to wear personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame-resistant clothing
- Must comply with Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of upstream oil & gas operations and production
- Preferred: 4 Year/Bachelor's degree; Technical or 4-year college degree highly preferred
- Preference for college a degree in a related field such as Engineering Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics
- Relevant experience associated with upstream Oil & Gas Operations is a plus
