Job Summary
Produce production-ready drawings and documentation to support manufacturing, translating design concepts into detailed CAD/BIM schematics and blueprints. Create layouts with dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and similar tools; verify accuracy and compliance with specs; collaborate with engineers and project teams to incorporate changes; maintain organized records of drawings and revisions; assist in site assessments or project reviews to inform drafting work.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools
- 2-5 years of experience in drafting, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail, mathematical skills, and understanding of technical specifications
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and materials relevant to production processes
