Job Summary
Provide subject matter expertise and consulting on technologies to ensure solutions comply with enterprise design standards. Translate business requirements into technical definitions, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment while evaluating reference models for fit for purpose. Develop software solutions addressing manual or inefficient processes and conduct on-site evaluations of third-party products for firm adoption. Create infrastructure tools as a service and facilitate deployment through templates, playbooks, and automation. This role operates and manages AIT 6819 and AIT 63845 for Bank of America Large Commercial Card, with infrastructure hosted in third-party colocation data centers in Austin TX and Smyrna GA. The position supports the Works team's self-sufficient structure within the Global Banking & Payments Production Services line of business.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years recent MS-SQL Server DBA experience
- Experience with Bank of America processes
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Backup and restore processes including log shipping
- Experience working with Windows Clusters
- Experience writing T-SQL stored procedures and queries
- Experience in the Enterprise DBA team
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer experience with Foglight, Litespeed, & Aspera
- PCI and/or SOC1 audits
