Job Summary
Graduate/early-career Production Data & Automation Analyst to work with production teams on data analysis, Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power BI), SAP data maintenance, and modelling to improve manufacturing processes. You will join the Continuous Improvement team to analyse plant performance, develop digital tools for shopfloor use, build models of production processes, and translate data into actionable insights that enhance cost, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include designing and developing Power Apps to capture production data, creating Power BI dashboards and data pipelines, analyzing operational data from SAP and production systems, building production-process models to evaluate cost-efficient routes, supporting troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and collaborating with operators, engineers, and chemists to deliver practical, real-world improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Chemistry / Materials Science, Maths / Physical Science, Computer Science
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and technologies
- Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience or interest in Power BI or Power Apps, Excel, SQL, or Python with an awareness of manufacturing or production environment and how data can improve real-world processes
