Job Summary
Oversee the assigned manufacturing line within the biscuits business by operating and maintaining equipment to achieve technical mastery and meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale objectives. Lead maintenance tasks for shutdown processes, root-cause analyses, loss reduction analyses, and breakdown elimination while using autonomous and progressive maintenance standards. Develop budgets, manage cost control, and handle workforce planning including recruitment, retention, and succession planning. Set priorities, manage the Plan-Do-Check-Adjust cycle, and provide training and guidance to the line team. Work the afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) on-site at the Pacheco Plant.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced university student or graduate in engineering or related fields
- Experience in similar roles
- Demonstrable experience leading diverse teams
- Demonstrable experience using TPM methodology and continuous improvement tools
- Experience working with unions
- Must have strong Servant Leadership
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Communication Skills
- Motivation
- Conflict Management abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office Knowledge
- Intermediate English level
- Work schedule: Afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
- 100% on-site at Pacheco Plant
- No Relocation support available

- Experience and knowledge in: Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems
- Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
- Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3
- Leading line teams
- Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully
- Influencing people in a union environment
- Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and a good attention to detail
- Experience leading diverse teams (desirable)
- Knowledge of Power BI and SAP (desirable)
