Production Coordinator

Production Coordinator at Veeco’s Somerset, NJ manufacturing facility serving as a bridge between management, production, and warehouse to ensure smooth workflow. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory to support production, coordinating with Final Test technicians, MFEs, planners and warehouse staff; ensuring tool teardowns and materials are properly bagged, labeled, and aligned with Manufacturing Instructions; processing excess tool materials and returning items to inventory with planners/MFEs; using SAP to execute material transactions including purchase requisitions; communicating material discrepancies to planners/MFEs; organizing Final Test bay material racks in line with 5S and safety standards; supplying and replenishing materials for daily Final Test bay activities. Qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, 2-4 years in manufacturing, familiarity with SAP preferred, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, MS Office proficiency, excellent communication, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, attention to detail, ability to work both independently and in a team, basic production scheduling understanding, willingness to work overtime, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Salary range is $37,300-$47,300 plus bonus; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, ESPP, and more.
