Production Coordinator

Job Summary
Oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery of materials to Triple-S Steel customers while enforcing Workplace Health and Safety requirements. Assist the Production Supervisor by assigning warehouse personnel, reviewing schedules, and monitoring productivity to meet deadlines. Report stock issues, retrieve materials from outside yards, and conduct product and parts inspections. Coordinate material usage, production scheduling for the plate shop, and equipment maintenance with costing reports. Ensure all company policies are followed, participate in continuous improvement meetings, and perform general housekeeping. Back up warehouse supervisors and production departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Blueprint reading
- basic math
- understanding of manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge or exposure to AutoCAD
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Good analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and anticipate potential problems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers
