Production Coordinator (TIBR) - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Coordinate the production workflow from order receipt through shipment for assigned jobs, developing and monitoring schedules to ensure customer commitments are met. Manage subcontract vendors, purchase raw materials, and coordinate tooling while generating purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation. Create and maintain all job documentation, including travelers, inspection documents, and certification packages for Quality review. Monitor work-in-process, identify scheduling conflicts, and communicate recommended adjustments to minimize delays. Proactively address production issues, material shortages, and quality concerns by communicating with appropriate personnel and developing solutions. Establish workpiece storage infrastructure, assist with shipping and receiving, and operate equipment such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts when trained. Perform part cleaning, manual deburring, shop cleaning, and 5S activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One years' experience working in an office environment
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
- Must have range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended periods of time while performing duties
- Must be able to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business or related field preferred
- Experience in metal working industry preferred
- Purchasing and planning experience preferred
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Epicor experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of metalworking preferred
- Strong planning skills
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
