Production Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate production schedules and manufacturing activities between the Youngstown and Brookfield facilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and ensure all stage gates are completed for clear-to-build. Maintain accurate production records, monitor workflow, and provide schedule updates to meet targets while supporting timely delivery of finished products. Hold owners accountable to tasks and optimize efficiencies across the manufacturing process. Requires 4-7 years of experience in metal manufacturing, proficiency in inventory management software, and knowledge of lean principles and quality control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in any of the following metal manufacturing roles: Coordination role, Inventory control, purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Shop Management
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of quality control standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Time management skills
