Job Summary
Production Coordinator role supporting the SVP of Production Management at National Geographic Content. Responsibilities include managing the executive calendar, meetings, agendas, communications across time zones, travel arrangements, and expenses; preparing reports and presentations for leadership at National Geographic and Disney; coordinating with internal stakeholders; tracking and overseeing departmental budget in Excel; handling department admin tasks such as mail, supplies, and vendor relations. Requires minimum 2 years of unscripted production experience as a Production Coordinator/Assistant, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), capability to design/present with PowerPoint and OneNote, and a Bachelor’s degree. Role is onsite four days a week at the DC office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ unscripted production experience working as a Production Coordinator or Production Assistant for cable networks and/or streaming platforms and/or third-party production companies
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Onsite four days per week
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to design/present using PowerPoint and OneNote
- Strong project management skills in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment
- Ability to manage executive calendars, travel arrangements, and expenses; coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Experience creating reports and presentations for leadership
- Experience with budget tracking in Excel
- Strong communication across time zones
- Detail-oriented with vendor relations and administrative tasks
- Pasion for nature and documentary films
