Job Summary
Oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery of materials and products to Triple-S Steel customers while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local workplace health and safety laws. Assign warehouse personnel to work areas, review schedules for workforce requirements, and monitor productivity to meet customer deadlines. Report stock issues, retrieve materials from outside yards, and perform product and parts inspections. Enforce company policies on quality, security, safety, and attendance; conduct housekeeping and assist with safety duties. Participate in continuous improvement and monthly safety meetings. Back up warehouse supervisors and production departments. Coordinate material usage, production scheduling for the plate shop, and equipment maintenance with costing reports. Utilize AutoCAD proficiency for drawing tasks. Communicate internal and external issues to management.
Required Qualifications
- Blueprint reading

- Working knowledge or exposure to AutoCAD

- Good analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and anticipate potential problems
