Job Summary
Schedule service and engineered product jobs in collaboration with customers and shop management to ensure on-time delivery. Update the production board, shop foremen, and customers regarding schedule changes. Track turnaround and outage costs for weekly invoicing. Plan, coordinate, and prepare valve specifications, material requisitions, and bid evaluations. Source and procure direct shipment, special, and rush order items cost-effectively. Provide technical support for manufacturing problem resolution. Follow up on open quotations and respond to customer requests. Identify and close additional purchases for customer communities. Prepare reports and keep management informed of all activity. Requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, including 1+ year as a Production Coordinator I, plus completion of specific LinkedIn Learning paths and technical training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 or more years as a Production Coordinator I or equivalent experience
- Successful completion or all Production Coordinator I certification requirements
- Successful completion of the Production Coordinator II learning path in LinkedIn Learning
- Successful completion of Technical 102 training for assigned product vertical(s)
- Successful completion of the level II written test for assigned product vertical(s)
- Highly organized
- Effective time-management
- Detail-oriented
- Strong leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
- Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
- Clear background check and drug and alcohol screening
- Lifting up to 25 pounds
- Bending, stooping, ability to stand for extended periods of time
