Job Summary
Coordinate materials and services for IMIA Structural Division projects by providing quote estimates, developing job material lists, and tracking delivery dates. Stock and issue consumables from shop stores, coordinate incoming material inspections against purchase orders, and provide forklift support for deliveries. Supply technical support to purchasing activities and interface with project managers and superintendents during weekly meetings. Ensure proper receipt inspection and storage of GFM while maintaining high attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate, or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with NAVSEA drawings and Tech Manuals
- Understanding and experience with manufacturing fundamentals
- Knowledge of Mil-Spec and COTS items
- Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form including but not limited to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals
- Willingness to learn and work to the best of their abilities and have a dependable work ethic
- Occasional travel required
