Production Control Technician

Job Summary
Production Control Technician responsible for monitoring production job schedules on IM+BM zOS, coordinating with software development release management and support teams to ensure timely completion of scheduled processes, designing and executing corrective actions for process failures, escalating unresolved issues to on-call personnel, and participating in shift handoffs. Must have 2+ years in production control, experience with Control-M, ability to work remotely and in teams, and willingness to work shifts. Requires ability to obtain a Secret clearance and prior experience with mainframe operations, abends, and runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Production Control experience
- Ability to learn, apply and disseminate knowledge to others
- Ability to work remotely and individually or in a team
- Experience with job scheduling software such as Control-M
- Willingness to perform shift work as requested in support of mission objectives
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Experience performing mainframe computer operations tasks such as following runbook instructions and resolving abends and interruptions in scheduled jobs
