Job Summary
The Production Control Supervisor leads the daily operations of the production control team, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of maintenance, repair, and alteration activities while adhering to FAA regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks, monitoring compliance with quality standards, collaborating with maintenance and supply chain teams, and implementing process improvements. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, strong knowledge of FAA regulations, and excellent leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or production control operations
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance documentation requirements
- Proficiency in maintenance planning and scheduling systems
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
Desired Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- Experience with rotary-wing aircraft records management
- Prior work in a military or government aviation environment
- Familiarity with electronic logbook systems and auditing processes
- FAA regulatory / compliance training
- Production control / logistics certification (e.g., APICS / CPIM, or equivalent)
- OSHA 10 or Safety training
- HAZMAT / Shipping awareness, if applicable to parts movement
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as required by the contract (Public Trust or Secret level, as applicable)
