Job Summary
Coordinate and review input from engineering, manufacturing suppliers, and Master Scheduling to establish and maintain production schedules across rocket engine manufacturing. Work across departments to ensure plans align with product delivery, driving entry/exit rates of assigned hardware and maintaining inventory levels to support production. Utilize production and operations planning to eliminate blockers, push/pull work into planning, and improve lead times while organizing daily priorities for production leads. Provide daily visibility and monthly reviews on schedule performance, lead efforts to uncover root causes, and develop permanent resolutions for processing build issues.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for our mission and vision
- 4+ years of professional manufacturing experience in production or manufacturing planning and scheduling or operations
- 4+ years of MS Office
- 4+ years of practical experience with ERP/MRP systems in production environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Relocation provided desk in production to best support our operations
- Travel expected up to 5% of the time
- Shifts available: day shift
Desired Qualifications
- People leadership experience preferred
- Familiarity with lean principles
- Familiarity with Costpoint MRP or Microsoft Dynamics
