Job Summary
Production Control Manager is responsible for managing factory loading based on Customer delivery requirements through Inside Sales, Manufacturing capacity, and Material supply; set up manufacturing capabilities by reviewing new job orders and confirm appropriate turn-around time and pricing; oversee production of job orders and adjust schedules to meet on-time delivery; ensure resources are available to complete jobs with acceptable quality; schedule job orders to minimize past dues and meet throughput and monthly shipment goals; liaison between Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Customers for status updates; review daily work-in-process reports to maintain schedule adherence and identify alternatives; participate in daily production meetings to direct activities, establish priorities, and report progress; monitor product standards and implement quality control programs and process improvements; collaborate with Manufacturing on resource allocation; conduct necessary trainings and ensure compliance with company policies and export controls.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience with a MRP/MES systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, shop floor planning/control systems) is preferred
- Strong computer/Microsoft Office skills
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Knowledge of IPC standards or equivalent Manufacturing standards is preferred
