Production Control Manager

Job Summary
Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and priorities based on customer demands and resource availability to maximize line performance on 24/7 operations. Monitor inventory levels in real time, manage materials procurement, and track production progress to identify bottlenecks and execute corrective actions. Supervise the shipping supervisor, scheduler, and material ordering personnel while organizing truck transportation schedules and evaluating vendor rates. Analyze production data to pinpoint trends, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and maintain a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as data analytics, business, finance, engineering, or operations management
- 5+ years proven experience in offensive production coordination, production control
- prior supervisory or management experience
- Must LOVE manufacturing
- Must have a competitive winning spirit
- High proficiency utilizing computer software: Excel, production control software and systems, including ERP systems and inventory management tools
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills working with all levels in the organization
- ability to learn quickly
- Willingness to be hands-on and adaptable in a dynamic, startup environment
- This is an in-person work environment
- This role operates within a 24/7 manufacturing facility
- may require occasional off-shift coordination

- Must be able to walk throughout manufacturing facility as needed regularly during the workday
