Job Summary
Lead production control to develop and manage the manufacturing schedule to meet customer demands, drive material requirements, and align shop output with business goals. Coordinate daily planning meetings, identify and address schedule risks, and report on-time performance. Collaborate with Shop Operations Leaders and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve bottlenecks, optimize routings, and ensure timely shipments. Utilize MRP/ERP systems and P6 Primavera; maintain quarterly production charts; conduct what-if scenario analyses to mitigate delivery risk; and uphold EH&S and quality initiatives. Role is based in the UK office (Newcastle upon Tyne) with a standard five-day on-site schedule. The internal Baker Hughes title for this role is Manufacturing Senior Specialist - Production Planning & Scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience in MRP & scheduling planning
- General knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Experience on P6 Primavera or equivalent
- Knowledge of Engineering BOM structures
- Familiarity with Warehouse/Production operations
- Experience reporting to Senior leadership
- Ability to work from office 5 days a week
