Job Summary
Production Control – Clerk will support production control and ensure the efficient flow of information to maintain and update production transactions by inputting and correcting data within ERP systems and other databases. Responsibilities include providing support to planning, engineering, and manufacturing teams; managing ERP transactions and daily time/attendance for employees; processing job transactions and correcting errors; maintaining employee profiles with payroll/HR; distributing employee-related materials; assisting with employee events; answering calls, front-desk duties, greeting visitors, and handling mail; and coordinating with HR and payroll. Required skills include proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; strong organizational, time-management, and data-entry capabilities; ability to manage multiple priorities; effective written and verbal communication; and a detail-oriented, self-directed work style. Education and training related to inventory/supply chain/materials management are assets; knowledge of ERP-based production processes, inventory control, and supply chain management is also highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Education and training related to inventory management, supply chain management or materials management an asset.
- Knowledge of production processes in an ERP system including inventory control, production control and supply chain management
- Proficiency in common PC software, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
