Job Summary
Coordinate the production shift setup by creating and organizing paperwork, labels, work packets, and job dockets for current and next shifts. Manage administrative tasks including generating picklists, moving 7 series materials, printing UPC labels with QA approval, and entering nonconformance data into SAP and WMS. Ensure adherence to safety policies, GMP guidelines, and HACCP standards while supporting floor leads and managing staff supervision. Maintain accurate time/attendance records and communicate effectively with production teams and management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related experience or training in warehouse production
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon needs of the business
- Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
- Ability to effectively work in teams and demonstrate a team player demeanor
- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Ability to lead/supervise large groups of associates
- Knowledge and understanding of quality standards, methods and reporting as required
- Ability to multi-task and plan in advance for production in assigned areas
- Ability to interpret instruction (both verbal and written)
- Ability to produce at a high level through assigned staff and work with plant management for required results
- Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job
- Must be aware of surroundings at all times as there is moving equipment
- Sitting on a regular basis
- Standing, stooping, walking, and lifting required
