Job Summary
Supervise organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft by managing all aspects of work scheduling and performance in a safe, efficient manner. Direct skilled technicians in daily duties while reviewing employee performance, generating assignments, and setting priorities. Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery, corrosion control, and inspection of aircraft, subsystems, and components. Perform engineering work orders for modifications and upgrades, read manufacturer manuals to determine repair methods, and adjust electrical wiring systems or replace accessories. Provide technical guidance on technical orders and hazardous materials, maintain equipment schedules, monitor parts inventories, and ensure material availability. Offer training on company equipment per OSHA regulations and conduct foreign object damage prevention walks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education or equivalent
- Ten (10) years of aviation maintenance experience
- Three (3) years of US Army aviation maintenance experience
- Five (5) years of supervisory experience
- Two (2) years of Army aviation maintenance supervisory experience
- Ability to plan and schedule maintenance work requirements
- Ability to direct skilled technicians in the daily performance of their duties
- Working knowledge of OSHA and company requirements
- Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
- NAC-I T1 Public Trust clearance
- US Citizenship
- Valid driver's license
- In-depth knowledge of flight line operations
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft/vehicle movement
- In-depth knowledge of safety/hazards
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft common and special tools
- Advanced knowledge of test equipment
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications

- Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces up to three (3) hours per day
- Must be able to sit for up to five (5) hours per day
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. to the height of 4 feet
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. to a height of 7 feet
- Must be able to carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp, or handle objects
- Must be able to use finger dexterity
- Must be able to bend elbow/knee
- Must be able to reach above/below shoulders
- Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs
