Job Summary
Production Concrete Worker on 1st or 2nd shift responsible for setup, stripping and pouring concrete to create panels/slabs for parking structures, sports complexes, and other buildings. Tasks include reviewing prints, setting up forms with a tape measure, placing steel in forms, using bolt cutters to cut mesh, operating concrete saws, and using oil sprayers on forms. Requires basic math/measurement skills, ability to read blueprints, strong teamwork, and a high school diploma or GED. Shift options start at 8/9 AM or 11 AM with overtime available; on-site work located at the Springboro, OH facility with no travel. Includes shift differential and full benefits for full-time employment, plus tuition assistance and a 401(k) plan.
Required Qualifications
- Prior construction, roofing, hardscaping or similar background is required
- Comfortable operating measuring tape to 1/16th of an inch
- Good with taking instructions, taking feedback, and working as a part of a team.
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED)
- Basic math & measurement skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment are critical
