Job Summary
Ensure specific areas across the production site and specialist machinery, including mixers and conveyors, are cleaned to the highest standard to meet daily production and quality targets while minimising downtime. Spot and report any production issues immediately, maintaining strict adherence to Health & Safety protocols. Operate forklift trucks and front-loading shovels to support flexible cover requirements and general housekeeping duties. Work permanent night shifts from 9:00pm to 6:00am, Monday to Friday, for 45 hours per week. Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment is required, with prior industrial cleaning, forklift, and shovel operation experience being distinct advantages.
Required Qualifications
- A background in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace
- Able to show a flexible approach to varying work activities
- Previous experience driving a forklift truck
- Previous experience of driving a front-loading shovel
Desired Qualifications
- Previous industrial cleaning experience a distinct advantage
