Job Summary
Production Chemist I–III roles in a cGMP-regulated peptide manufacturing environment. Responsibilities span executing and supporting batch production across upstream synthesis and downstream purification, operating reactors, drying systems, HPLCs, and lyophilization; performing in-process controls and interpreting analytical results (e.g., HPLC, ninhydrin tests); ensuring ALCOA+ compliant material handling, inventory, and ERP documentation; maintaining safety, 5S, and PPE standards; and collaborating with QA, QC, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain. The posting outlines Level-based growth: Chemist I is entry-level with general supervision, Chemist II provides more autonomy and mentorship, and Chemist III is a senior SME leading troubleshooting, process improvements, tech transfer, and planning. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent
- High School Diploma with GMP manufacturing experience may be considered (Chemist I)
- Experience: Chemist I 0–2 years; Chemist II 3+ years; Chemist III 5+ years
- Peptide synthesis and purification (HPLC)
- cGMP documentation and compliance
- Safe handling of hazardous chemicals and reagents
