Production Cell Leader

Job Summary
Production Cell Leader responsible for a production cell’s safety, quality, and performance. Lead and develop the team to meet department goals; implement plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and personnel; provide leadership, training, and support. Model leadership best practices to build a motivated, engaged team and uphold safety, GMP, ISO, SPC, and other quality standards. Troubleshoot using root-cause analysis to implement permanent actions for customer complaints and internal issues; manage daily department priorities; drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the cell.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a similar technical area; OR, three to five years related experience and/or training; OR, equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, social, and interpersonal skills to be able to lead effectively, relate to team members, and motivate individuals
- Willingness to assist with technical troubleshooting as well as operate production equipment through relief periods as needed
