Responsible for managing commodities worldwide, developing category strategies, supplier qualification, contracting and negotiations; lead supplier development, cost reduction, quality assurance, and risk mitigation; analyzes commodity data, participates in supplier selection, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet requirements using standard company procurement templates and tools; requires strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to manage supplier performance and risk within a global procurement framework.
Required Qualifications
- First level university degree or equivalent experience
- Typically 4-6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities
- Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Knowledge of procurement tools and applications
- Ability to develop suppliers
- Basic project management skills
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Mastery in English and local language
