Job Summary
Production Bagger performs bagging of finished product, verifies bag weight and labeling, seals bags with a heated glue sealer, and stacks bags on pallets according to customer and company specifications. Responsibilities include observing scale readings for weight accuracy, ensuring legible code dates, validating seals and quantities, addressing any defects, and taking product samples to the Lab as needed. Must visually inspect bags pre-seal and totes for defects, follow metal detector procedures, and report problems to the Shift Manager. The role requires proving safe, repetitive physical work in a very hands-on, 24/7 manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 70 pounds, standing for extended periods, and wearing required PPE. No supervisory authority; reports to Bagger Lead or Shift Manager. Occasional weekends and overtime may be required. Knowledge of potato dehydration process is a plus; strong reading and communication skills in English are essential.
