Job Summary
Enter job labor for products, perform issues to production jobs, and audit job packets for accuracy. File finished good work orders, enter scrap amounts, and close job packets. Perform issues on bulk job packets, investigating and resolving inaccuracies. Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production Planners, Inventory Control, and supervisors. Attend meetings when necessary and support Production Managers and Supervisors in all aspects of their duties. Requires 6 months prior experience at Melaleuca or equivalent, ability to lead, and proficiency in JDE.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months prior experience at Melaleuca or equivalent
- Demonstrates ability to lead
- 45 wpm typing
- Work in and understand JDE
- Detailed work and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze problems and create solutions
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under stress
- Word processing, graphics, and spreadsheet skills, with strong knowledge of our computer system
- Strong problem-solving and logic skills
- Ability to follow up and follow through on a wide variety of issues
- Ability to effectively interface with a broad assortment of Plant personnel
- Experience with computers with the ability to learn and adapt to new programs quickly
- Excellent math skills (i.e. add, subtract, multiply, divide, analyze, etc.)
- Sit or stand with intermittent walking for duration of shift
- Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filing, typing, writing, etc
- Communicate (hearing & speech) with individuals in person and by phone
- Visually read reports, computer screens, etc
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to climb stairs
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months previous inventory control experience or equivalent is helpful
