Job Summary
Operate production equipment and perform assembly operations to fabricate component parts for final product assembly. Handle materials by loading, unloading, and storing them properly while maintaining a clean work area. Utilize hand tools and power equipment safely to read work orders, production schedules, and technical drawings. Perform quality checks, inspect products for defects, and make accurate measurements using precision tools. Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills, including the ability to work with fractions and decimals
- Experience with tape measure reading and precise measurements
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic computer literacy
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
